About Shortlands Computing

Shortlands Computing is led by Robert Shackleton, a professional IT consultant with 40 years’ experience of technology support, IT development and business consulting. After graduating in Physics, Robert trained professionally with Capgemini, one of the world’s largest technology companies. Robert has also professional systems experience gained at Logica and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Robert is supported by independent associates for larger projects.

Robert advises businesses how to use technology to improve performance.  The advice is practical, balances cost and value, and takes account of the technology skill level of our customers.  Our customers technology allows them to grow and succeed.

Our fees for IT support

  • We issue a monthly invoice itemising all time spent.

  • Fees are £109 ex VAT per hour, and there is a minimum fee of two hours time per month.  All time spent is itemised.

  • For larger jobs fees are estimated in advance.

  • You must have properly licensed software on your computer and we may need the product activation codes to carry out some work.
